Superb, authentic Polish cooking in a loud, friendly restaurant run by relaxed and friendly staff. This place can be rented for private parties so ring ahead in case they aren't open. The cooking is simple but delicious and proceedings are well lubricated with Polish vodka, arguably the best in the world. The cultural centre stays open until 3am, so you can expect a boisterous crowd at dinner, plumping up on dumplings and thick meat dishes before a night of hard drinking. The restaurant is very attractive despite being hidden in a revolting concrete block - the main draw is certainly the atmosphere, but the food is excellent. Highly recommended for an unusual, noisy but delicious meal.
Notes: Booking advised on weekends. Occasional live entertainment. Separate room for parties. Tables on patio. Dress smart casual.
