Lucky 7 is a spookily accurate recreation of a 1950s diner in the heart of trendy West London, with an authentic American menu created by Tom Conran. The place looks exactly like a Midwestern diner from the 1950s, and the staff themselves have the careless air of disaffected punks from a James Dean film. However, they work efficiently enough and the basic but stylish food is a delight. The burgers are definitely the main attraction, from staple classics to more exotic crab-meat or green chilli patties, but the side orders are also lovingly prepared, and the desserts are definitely unhealthy but irresistible.
This is a fantastic, indulgent treat, and a great place to go on a date, with true style, atmosphere and a superb location near the delights of Ladbroke Grove.
