This small pizza takeaway is a big hit with busy Soho-ites on the hunt for a quick bite. There are often queues out the door and the pizza is quite literally a sell-out so get there well before 3pm if you want a good pick of the selection. Malletti is a Roman style pizza bar, that means the slices come thin based and square on a slab. The fresh ingredients are from local markets and the bases are all vegetarian. There are a few new flavour combos for those craving something different from the classic margherita (which Malletti does very well) like the frankfurten and chilli or the Parmentier, topped with potatoes, leeks and fontina cheese. There are a few stools for sitting but these pizzas are perfect for eating on the move. They also sell risotto and pasta dishes and have a branch in Clerkenwell. They will deliver orders if you give them a couple of hours notice and don't mind paying the taxi fare.
