Mar I Terra

Set not too far off from the Thames, Mar I Terra is like a little slice of Spain to be found in London. Spanish food, Spanish waiters, Spanish wine; the menu is entirely tapas, conveniently split up into meat, fish and vegetarian sections to make choosing your food an easier task. This means you can go for chorizo sautéed in cider if you're feeling carnivorous, there's Piquillo peppers filled with fresh crab for the fish fans and the button mushrooms cooked in a spicy chilli sauce will almost certainly delight the vegetarians amongst us. You pay for each dish that you order but the prices shouldn't damage your bank balance too much. Located near tourist attractions such as the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe, it's is an ideal place for grabbing a quick bite to eat if you've got a busy day planned. Or if you'd prefer to spend a leisurely lunch gorging on tapas and soaking up the atmosphere or simply, sipping Spanish beer in the garden, well that works too. It's also worth mentioning that Mar I Terra do not take bookings for parties of less than ten in the evenings, so you may wish to get there early.
