Visitor Information
Boasting a legacy spanning as far back as 1931, Marine Ices crafts charming Neapolitan delicacies and masterful ice cream recipes. Signature savoury dishes include fresh seafood linguine, whilst tempting ice cream mixes include Caribbean coconut, or a tangy raspberry sorbet. A much-loved north London institution since the thirties, Marine Ices moved in 2014 to 61 Chalk Farm Road, just few meters down the road from its original ship-like building which gave the business its nautical name. Focusing on Italian gelato, sundaes and shakes, Marine Ices uses the same recipes created by Italian immigrant Gaetano Mansi who first started the business in the early '30s.
