Situated on Brick Lane, also known as London's curry mile, Masala is a traditional Indian restaurant serving up authentic food in relaxed surroundings. The interior is cool and contemporary, with high-backed leather chairs and neutral d?cor - perfect if you want to drop in for lunch or linger over dinner with friends. The menu is full of familiar favourites like chicken madras and lamb rogan josh, but we recommend trying one of Masala's signature dishes like Roopchanda - a Sylheti dish of queen fish marinated in lemon, exotic spices and a fresh tomato, coriander and garlic sauce. For something light and tasty, try the tandoori platter for two. For an after-work snack or a laid-back dinner before a night out, Masala is hard to beat.
