Located in up-market Kensington, Memories of China is the sister restaurant to Ken Lo's restaurant of the same name in Belgravia. The tasteful interior with fresh flowers, red chairs and white table linens has helped the place earn a strong reputation since opening in the 80's. It also doesn't hurt that it's became synonymous with serving high-quality Chinese food. There's more than enough to choose from such as wok-fried monkfish with asparagus, Peking lamb with garlic and spring onion and of course, all your favourites like sweet and sour chicken and duck with pancakes. But if you're looking for something a little different you may wish to sample one of the chef's signature dishes or even the lobster feast for two. As you may expect from its postcode, the place is a favourite with the West End's most trendy and can count a number of celebrities as regulars of the restaurant. The lunch menu also draws in a steady stream of hungry businessmen let loose from the office whilst the takeaway and delivery service is a popular choice for locals. Memories of China images
