Miyako is an exciting Japanese restaurant within the five star Andaz London hotel. The food is uncomplicated and authentic and, being both small and in the City, the restaurant gets packed at lunchtimes. We'd suggest going in the evening to soak up the whole 'Japanese-ness' of the place; tuck into their delicious delicacies like chicken teriyaki or Nasu shoga yaki. The fish is fresh, the rice properly seasoned and served at the just right temperature, and there's a good selection of sake available too.
