For what is essentially a sandwich and salad place, Napket has a very slick interior design - including iPods at the breakfast bar and Philippe Starck chairs. The whole thing is covered in black gloss - even the toilet paper is black - creating a style more usually found in a slick bar than a cafe. The name Napket comes from merging 'Napkin' and 'Market' which gives a clue as to the kind of food you get and the way its served up. There's a 'create your own' salad bar as well as good quality ready-made salads and sandwiches. Service can get a little sloppy under pressure in the peak lunch hour - when we went there one of our party found meat in their vegetarian salad. But we're prepare to overlook this faux pas for the excellent design and good quality ingredients. 'Snob food' is Napket's strapline but really it's neither expensive nor exclusive. It's a chic and surprisingly affordable place to eat.Location map of Napket
