'Snob food' is Napket's strapline but don't let that put you off. It's not hideously overpriced and the door policy doesn't match that of Boujis; you won't get turned away for not having a trust fund. Rather than being an exclusive private members' club, Napket is a stylish cafe that's open to all. The name Napket comes from merging 'Napkin' and 'Market' which gives a clue as to the kind of food you get and the way its served up. All the food is laid out, market style, for you to see before you buy. There's a very slick interior design - including iPod sockets in the communal table and Philippe Starck chairs - for what is essentially a sandwich and salad place. The whole thing is covered in black gloss - even the toilet paper is black, I kid you not - more usually found in a slick bar than a cafe. The excellent design and a quite lovely atmosphere make it chic place to eat when you're out on the King's Road.
