On entering Nobu you'll have to muster your best swagger to pass the bar where everyone rubber-necks to check if you are a celebrity (sorry, people!). Once you've run the gauntlet and reached your elegant table you'll notice that you're sitting amongst a crowd of diners who are all smiling. They're beaming - not because the prozac is working - but with pleasure because the food at Nobu lifts you to a happy place; it's truly world-class. Japanese classics like beef terriyake and sushi platters mingle with more innovative compotes and delicacies on a lengthy menu. Whatever you choose, youll be surprised and delighted. Sensational stuff. Though a little over-hyped and very pricey (book a table well in advance), the setting is very stylish indeed, at the top of
