O Fado was established in 1968 in the vibrant Kensington area. Beginning as a popular destination for London's Portuguese community to gather in the late hours of the evening to overcome any homesickness, it has grown into a popular dining destination for all Londoners. There's an extensive menu: start off with something from the para começar or 'to begin with' section – a mixture of soups and hot and cold starters. Then move onto the pratos principais or 'main temptations'. Choose from a variety of excellent fish, meat or pasta dishes. There's an wide-ranging wine list to go along with your meal, ensuring that your Mediterranean dining experience will not be one to forget.O Fado images
