Italian ice cream as only the Italians know how. This ice cream parlour is hotly tipped by celebrity chefs, Gordon Ramsay and Italian chef Theo Randall (who has his own restaurant at the InterContinental Hotel on Park Lane) among them. Set up by Christian Oddono, they also have a concession in Selfridges food hall which just goes to show how deliciously good these creamy desserts are. Choose from over 130 flavours, including cinnamon, basil, chocolate and cognac, vodka lemon, honey, chocolate ginger and chili ice cream. If you're trying to be good, sorbets are made with fruit, sugar, water and some stabilizers and contain zero per cent fat. This gelato down a pretty little side street in South Ken is popular no matter what the weather - though in summer a cart is parked outside to help feed the increased demand. The late night opening hours (till midnight on Friday and Saturday nights, 11pm all other evenings) prove it's not just the kids who get addicted to Oddono's.
