This is the best pizza restaurant in London, so long as you think of pizza as a pricey, fresh, light and totally authentic item of Sardinian cuisine, rather than a cheesily cheerful American snack. If the pizzas don't appeal, there's also a line of unusual pasta sauces, featuring Sardinian classics like grey mullet roe, sea urchins and veal. In the best traditions of pizza restaurants everywhere, the puddings are rubbish, but they break from the mold with the wine list, which is expensive but very impressive. Efficient, knowledgeable staff and plain, stylish decor ensure that the small dining room feels bustling rather than cramped.
