A wonderful, friendly restaurant that serves splendid food in a pleasant setting. The staff are friendly and efficient, and Mauro the owner is usually roaming around chatting up the tables. The classic Italian meals here are simple cooking elevated to unusual heights; each dish is a perfectly balanced blend of the best flavours. Most of the dishes are honest versions of old ‘mama’ recipes, but done with perfection and style. The best thing on the menu is Spaghetti Bottarga. Bottarga is a rare delicacy, the sun-cured roe sack of a tuna, and this simple dish which is a perfect celebration of an extraordinary taste is the best spaghetti you’ll ever have.
