This is a nightclub that charges £15 for admission after ten but until that point it serves decent Vietnamese food, with a smattering of French influence. The staples of Vietnamese cuisine are the best executed, for instance green curries and fried seafood dumplings, but you’ll also find comforting French classics like garlic chicken and rosti. It’s overpriced, but in part you are paying for the old-world atmosphere and luxury. Opium is a stylish venue for a date, with great service and a prime location in Soho, but it is a little pricey for what you get.
