This Belgravia branch of the delicious deli/cafe Ottolenghi is a take-away shop with a small communal table at the back for a quick bite (just don't sip on too many cafe lattes - there are no toilets). The popular mix of Mediterranean cuisine and clean white cafe style was dreamt up by Yotam Ottolenghi who came from Israel with no experience in the industry. Great salads, dips and superb breads and pastries are the basis of the cuisine. A column in the Saturday 'Guardian', a cookbook and classes at Leiths are all signs of the success of his simple formula. Renowned for its excellent breakfasts - voted "the finest in town" by The Observer Food Monthly.
