This is just what you'd expect from the people who brought us Sonny's in Barnes, a decent and reliable restaurant - and with the added advantage that there's an umbrella-covered, fairy lit terrace for al fresco eating. The outdoor heaters mean you can even sit out when the weather is borderline chilly. This being Putney it's popular with young mothers who wield their pushchairs down the surrounding pavements and, most likely, they'll bring their tots with them - you have been warned. Six-year-old fellow diners aside, the food is faultless with Duchy of Cornwall oysters - you get a generous five pieces for a starter portion - or grilled whole quail, rocket & pomegranate to start.
