Pierre Victoire - a byword for an affordable but tasty meal. This Dean Street branch of the ever-expanding chain is probably the best, thanks to a great location, comfortable layout and a piano in the corner.
Since it first broke into the market, this chain has expanded rapidly thanks to a winning combination - great French cooking, and affordable prices. You can eat a delightful meal here for half what you'd expect to pay... it's as simple as that. The mussels and seafood dishes are particularly elegant, but they've got everything right down to the bread basket and superior, cheap wine list.
If you see a Pierre Victoire anywhere in the country, you can be suire of a good meal without breaking the bank. On the other hand, if you're stumbling around in trendy, overpriced Soho in need of some solid food, this particular branch is an absolute God-send.
