150 years young, The Princess of Wales pub in leafy Primrose Hill has recently been lovingly renovated, re-establishing itself as a warm and welcoming local with great British pub food, quality drinks and laid-back atmosphere. Set over three floors that include an elegant first floor dining room, lower-ground bar and event space and the 'Banksy beer garden' (named after a mysterious lion stencil that appeared in 2011), it's got something for all, be it a Friday night Rhubarb Royale cocktail, Dry cured bacon breakfast bap or a pint and Mrs King's Pork Pie n' Piccalilli. Keeping within the style of the pub and its heritage a wide selection of predominantly British spirits are served including Chase, Hendricks and Sipsmiths served with the classic 'ice and a slice' or in a selection of tasty cocktails. A thoughtfully chosen wine list includes Chapel Down wines from Kent alongside Champagne, Prosecco, cask ales, organic ciders and good ol' London Pride.
