Italian chef Antonio Mellino, who has earned two Michelin stars with his Quattro Passi restaurant on the Amalfi Coast, is moving his family to London to bring "real Italian fine dining" to London. Working alongside his family - which includes sons Raffaele and Fabrizio - Quattro Passi in London replicates the success of the Italian original to offer authentic dishes from the Calabrian coast of Southern Italy. The menu includes pearls of shrimp in chickpea sauce, scialatielli pasta with cuttlefish, prawns and mint, and Madame Piemontese golden fried veal chop served with oven roasted potatoes and lemon perfumed mayonnaise. Antonio plans to import all his ingredients fresh from Italy every day, almost exclusively using his long standing Amalfi coast suppliers. Cristiano Pellizzari, formerly of the Four Seasons, is general manager at this glamorous 100 cover restaurant on Dover Street so you can expect a very high standard of service and presentation. For Mayfair's more discerning clientele, a private members club on the lower level of the restaurant gives members access to a luxurious bar with 60 covers, a club menu, and live music.
