Raviolo

Pasta is the main staple here - you eagle-eyed readers may have deduced that already just by looking at the title of the place. Not surprisingly, ravioli is the speciality. But it's not the kind of stuffed pasta you'll find in your local Tesco. The choices are too many to list here but to give you a taster, among the more exotic fillings are broccoli, ricotta and almond, scallops and prawns. You share your table with anyone else who's about - a concept that Wagamama made acceptable - and tuck into decent portions of pasta. Just be sure to leave enough room for one of their delicious desserts. The almost all-day opening hours mean you can drop in whenever you want and, in keeping with the Italian theme, it's a great place to take the family - which is appropriate given the area; kids will happily fall on the box of toys kindly provided for them.
