If you've ever walked across the Piazza del Duomo in Milan you'll know that Italian 'gelato' is part of the culture. Here Matteo and his friends recreate a little piece of Italy in Soho with genuine gelato by the scoop, made with real, organic fruit and including gluten and sugar-free varieties. They have fifteen different types of chocolate ice cream including darks, white, fondant, nut chocolate as well as chocolate flavoured with cinnamon, coffee, mint and raspberry. It's not just gelato either, you can also get all types of "pasticceria" (traditional Italian pastries) including cakes, biscuits, muffins, brownies or should that be sfogliatine, bomboloni, cannoncini and cornetti, all of which are made fresh in the store on the day. Sfogliatine (puff pastry) comes with a choice of sweet, sticky fillings including apple, pear, rice, cream and chocolate. Delicious jam-filled cornetti, crescent-shaped pastries, are best accompanied with cappuccino for a genuine Italian breakfast.
