As our name suggests, with our choice of ingredients and style of cooking we like to follow the seasons. We like to use produce when it's at its freshest and most abundant. We believe this is when food tastes at its best. Seasonal food also requires fewer precious natural resources to produce. We have a responsible and sensible approach to food miles. We believe in sourcing our food as local to us as possible, but not exclusively in the British Isles. In terms of style of cooking, we have no particular allegiance to any one country or region and look to cook dishes that make the best use of the produce available to us. Generally our focus is British, French and Italian but our inspiration very often comes from further afield. Most of all we aim to offer good quality, honestly sourced produce, cooked well without too much fuss alongside a short, well considered drinks list within a warm, welcoming, convivial room.
