A cool, modern space with flash fusion food to match, Six 13 offers a contemporary menu mixing Middle Eastern specialities and Jewish dishes. It’s pricey but quite excellent; the dairy-free menu constantly expanding under the expert direction of Conran-trained Stephen Collins, who consults with the Beth Den in pushing out the boundaries of Kosher cooking. The menu is huge and enticing, featuring highly unusual but superb dishes such as pickled ox with beetroot chutney and roast halibut with saffron mash and red peppers. This is a very fine restaurant, with a buzzing atmosphere and excellent service to match.
