Pleasant décor, friendly efficient staff and an excellent, varied menu; Snow’s makes a good case for being the best of the local restaurants in an area spoiled for choice. The classic Mediterranean dishes are executed with real style and the place has a lovely, warm atmosphere. The starters are a strong point, setting the mood with delicious cheese tarts and stuffed artichokes, and the best thing on the main menu is the saddle of venison. This difficult dish is perfectly cooked so that it melts in the mouth. A great example of a local, small-scale restaurant with real class.
