An excellent, authentic Swiss restaurant in the West End of London, St Moritz is a little expensive but definitely worth a visit if you feel indulgent. There is a separate fondue menu featuring traditional concoctions, a Chinese variant and delicious fruit and strawberry dessert options. Sharing fondue can be very romantic although the after effects of gruyere and vacherin are probably less desirable than those of chocolate. The main courses are pricey but generous, including delicious authentic rosti (fried potatoes) with spicy sausage and a spectacular tomato steak. The friendly and efficient staff will and pleasant atmosphere combine with first class food to make this a thoroughly satisfying place.
