Strada has started something of a pizza revolution and knocked Pizza Express off its perch (as well as, more regrettably, being the final nail in the coffin for many independent formica-tabled neighbourhood Italian restaurants). The menu includes all the pizza-pasta basics, and the wine list offers the usual rough-around-the-edges Italian reds that go so well with this cuisine. Traditional ingredients, smart interiors and gargantuan wood-fired pizzas combine to make this an excellent affordable restaurant.
