Strada has started something of a pizza revolution. The chain has blossomed thanks largely to its focus on fresh, high quality ingredients, and efficient, friendly service. The menu includes all the pizza-pasta basics as well as antipasti, meat and fish mains. While the options change from time to time the dozen or so oven-fired pizzas remain a constant, with the Buffala - tomato sauce, buffala mozzarella and basil - a perennial favourite. The wine list includes the usual rough-around-the-edges Italian reds that go so well with this cuisine. Traditional ingredients, smart interiors and gargantuan wood-fired pizzas combine to make this an excellent affordable restaurant. With over 30 restaurants in London alone, you're sure to be within a pizza-dough toss of one no matter what sight you're busy seeing. This branch on the corner of Exmouth Market, a foodie's haven in the trendy Clerkenwell area, has plenty of outside seating overlooking one of London's prettiest pedestrianised streets where you can watch
the city bankers mingle with the area's more artistic inhabitants.
