This Indian restaurant is a real treat for anyone with an interest in the variety and surprises that Indian cooking can hold. Head chef, Alfred Prasad, is a master of his craft, creating speciality dishes from all over the sub-continent. The ever-changing menu features a huge range of regional favourites and usually includes delights like traditional roasted quail, tiger prawns and poppy seed chicken. The vegetarian menu is absolutely superb, ccombining everything that is best about the rich textures and subtle spices of South Indian cooking. The decor is blandly international, though decorated screens and coppery colours offer some hints of the sub-continent.
