Canteen-styled daytime cafe which emphasises fresh ingredients from local producers, fair trade, and organic methods. The daily changing menu reflects the available ingredients. Soups, tarts, pasta, salads and sandwiches are the mainstay of the menu, but there's a short menu of slower food and some sturdy breakfasts available for diners in less of a hurry. It's fairly well concealed, and in summer, when the huge courtyard is open, it's a perfect spot to take a little break from the City
