This Shoreditch cafe on Kingsland Road is a great spot for the full English. You can breakfast on poached eggs, cooked tomatoes and succulent sausages while sitting at the solid oak, country-kitchen tables. The best part, though, is the homemade bread to soak it all up with. We'd recommend you go here just to chew on that doughy delightfulness alone. Free wireless and free juice for kids encourage lingering - and indicate the type of clientele this part of town attracts: freelancers and frazzled parents. They also have an eclectic range of organic salads, and the best home-made desserts in town. The adjacent shop, though expensive, stocks a wide variety of organic and vegetarian food selections, organic nuts, grains and basic veg as well as a good wine and spirits section.
