Situated in a grand, Grade I listed building in the heart of London's Square Mile, Royal Exchange Grand Café and Bar is a beautiful setting for a special meal with specialist fish dishes. Eating in the light and airy courtyard, surrounded by luxury shops, imposing columns and arches, you feel as though you're in a by-gone era. Above, the mezzanine level houses two chic bars, which offer glamorous cocktails and snacks including caviar and fresh oysters. Looking down on the bustling restaurant and shoppers below while you enjoy a glass of something chilled is what the city workers love to do most. It's a D & D (formerly Conran) operation, headed up by chef Simon Levy whose seafood-heavy menu includes a good selection of crustacea available daily.
