Portuguese in everything but location Wine & Bread has been called the best restaurant of its type in town - not bad when you consider 'town' refers to no less than London. A family run caf?, restaurant and lounge bar in the Hendon area of North West London, Wine & Bread is at once family friendly and extremely grown up, the concept appealing to both daytime diners and late night lounge lizards. Husband and wife team Marcia and Kadir, bring years of experience in five star hotels and restaurants to their own venture, providing not only a taste and passion for food, but an eye for design and a desire to provide the best possible service and relaxing atmosphere all at once. Mediterranean in flavour, Wine & Bread's menu is typically Portuguese, recalling the best dishes enjoyed during those balmy summer's evenings on the Algarve or in languid weekends in Lisbon. A carefully selected, concise wine list includes not only Portuguese grapes but the best of the world's wine producing regions.
