Perfectly located for a seafood stop-off while taking in the bustling atmosphere of food lovers' Borough Market, the small dining room at The Wright Brothers Oyster and Porter House is made up of a long oyster bar and high tables and in summer you can take a seat outdoors on a barrel. The speciality is oysters and throughout the year they offer a wide range, sourced from around the British Isles and France including from their very own Duchy oyster farm in Cornwall. Selling only fish and shellfish from sustainable stocks, head chef Rob Malyon sources as much as possible from small Cornish day boats, embracing their 'sea to plate' philosophy. Try the hearty beef, Guinness and oyster pie, traditional moules marinières, or one of the daily-changing specials. Rich desserts complete the menu, and include chocolate truffles, crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding. Joining ales and porters from around the world are a wide choice of wines and a selection of classic cocktails.
