Claudio Pulze, owner of the hugely successful 'Cuisine Collection', (including Al Duca and Il Forno) set up this Indian restaurant with Head Chef Vineet Bhatia. It immediately won Best Indian at the London Restaurant Awards and continues to wow diners with a light and succulent approach to traditional Indian food. The interior is flashy and modern, and the service cool and attentive, but there’s nothing showy about the cooking; Bhatia uses a gentle touch, avoiding any strong sauces or sharp contrasts, to create subtle blends that bring out the flavours wonderfully. Altogether Zaika is an excellent restaurant.
