Children can play on Xboxes while couples plan their big day at the Sandals Resorts Store in Kensington which brings a taste of the Caribbean to the UK with virtual sightseeing tours and interactive screens . You can (almost actually) dip your toe in the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean a t the 5,000 square foot store which has a water feature with real running water inspired by the balcony hot-tubs found in the resorts. The London shop, kitted out at a cost of £1 million, is the first retail space for the resort operator and includes a research area where visitors can virtually visit the resort before booking their holiday. There are live social feeds giving realtime information, wedding specialists and the beaches family zone where parents can book their dream holiday while their kids are busy having fun with the photo booth and XBox. Sip on a rum punch while you plan your tropical trip - it's as close to Barbados as you'll get without leaving London.
