In common with the rest of the shops on Old London Road, this lovely interiors store - made over by Mary Portas, Queen of Shops - makes a refreshing change from the other shopping streets in Kingston which tend to be the same high street brands you find everywhere else. Not so number 37 Old London Road which specialises in quirky interiors with a vintage twist, hand-crafted upcycled furniture and accessories, and products by new up and coming designers. Home accessories and soft furnishings range from things that make a house a home like picture frames, cushions, throws and mirrors, to a unique factory painted G-Plan bedroom suite. Look in for lighting, artwork, sculptures, pet bowls and even stainless steel doormats, all of which are both vintage and functional. Mary Portas, Queen of Shops, has clearly worked her magic on 37 Old London Road.
