A gem in a rather barren area, Kennedy's claims to have been serving "quality cuts of meat" using "traditional manufacturing procedures and recipes" that haven't changed in over 100 years. "Old fashioned and proud of it" this no-nonsense south London institution planted itself loud and proud on Deptford High Street in 1877 and hasn't budged since. If their sign ("Please queue here and wait your turn") is to be taken seriously Kennedy's continues to attract the crowds - just make sure you wait your turn like good customers (remember - meat cleavers are sharp!).Location map of AJ Kennedy's
