Using only ecological yarn and environmentally friendly textiles, Annie Sherburne makes award-winning hats and rugs - recognised by the V & A design awards - and sells naturally dyed yarns at her shop in Columbia Road and at a second outlet at the OXO Tower Wharf. Graduating from both St. Martins (for fashion) and Goldsmiths (Textiles) and working for Jean Muir, Annie's experiences led her to investigate the environmental impact of design. She continues her research as a post-graduate at Kingston University. With increasing concern about environmental issues, Annie's emphasis on sustainability, zero waste and recycling is at the height of ethical fashion. Her work is included in a large number of private and public collections including major national museums in London, Paris, New York and Trondheim as well as the British Craft Council National Collection.
