Specialising in quality unused vintage eyewear from 1950-1989, Arckiv has a particular penchant for hand-made sixties and seventies British men's frames. Statement sunglasses include luxury brands like Persol, Ray Ban, Cazal, Carrera, Porsche Design, the Boeing Carrera de-luxe range and a comprehensive selection of Christian Dior sunglasses and frames. Arckiv creative director Fraser Laing used to run the Zechstein London Eyewear Design at the same location in Camden Market (which this shop replaces) and brings his expertise in eyewear to this achingly hip little store which, as a result, feels more like a shrine to the history of spectacles.
