Ben Southgate's furniture shop in Ezra Street Courtyard at the Columbia Road Flower Market is a bit of a find. Every Sunday morning, the thousands of people who come here to buy plants or flowers are also drawn by the boutique shops like this one that flank the stalls. You'll find beautifully presented solid items like a leather armchair, medical cabinet and polished chrome hanging wardrobe, all sourced and restored personally by Ben in his East Sussex workshop. The area is packed with thriving cafes, fashion shops, art galleries and a number of interiors outlets. Ben specialises in antique and vintage furniture and sells a wide range of lights and curiosities, sourcing and restoring all items personally. B Southgate is featured in the Time Out Shopping Guide 2007 and has developed a strong following.Location map of Ben Southgate
