This shop for cookery book fanatics was once managed by Clarissa Dickson-Wright. The mouth-watering smells that spring from this traditional place are thanks to the kitchen/coffee shop at the back where staff cook treats from the cookery books on sale. The formula is simple: one main course on the daily changing menu, served with water or wine. They also do cookery workshops upstairs. When looking for a cook book, the shop has its own recipe books on offer alongside limitless other recipe books covering every type of cuisine.
