American-owned bookshop chain and one of around 25 Borders shops in London alone from Brent Cross to Broadgate. Founders Tom and Louis Borders bought Books Etc in 1997 expanding their foot hold on England’s book shops. It’s a hold that doesn’t seem to have been weakened by the success of online book stores like Amazon. Alongside books on everything from autobiography to art is a wide choice of CDs, DVDs, magazines and gifts.
