This excellent butchers within the beautiful Leadenhall Market continues the long tradition at the market where British food has been sold since the 14th century. The Butcher at Leadenhall specialises in choice cuts of fresh meat and the friendly staff are all too willing to help you choose what's best for your needs - whether you're looking for something for the barbeque or freezer. Run by Paul Grout, former butchery and charcuterie manager at Harvey Nichols, his team is a dedicated bunch who have earned their stripes in the finest shops and stores in Britain and around the world. They also run Banger and Mash parties and - for the seriously dedicated carnivore - a Butcher & Chef experience. This is where a senior butcher and head chef arrives at your venue of chioce with a fresh pig or lamb and you get to learn the art of butchery, meat preparation and cooking from the professionals.
