Cell is a self funding organisation, based in East London founded and run by artists Milika Muritu and Richard Priestley on a non-profit making basis. Since 2000 Cell have been providing affordable artist studio space for 140 artists within their four leasehold sites in East London. A partnership with The Jerwood Charity sees the gallery hosting the Jerwood Artists Platform where emerging and talented mid career visual artists are provided with their first one-person in London exhibition and are enabled to create site-specific projects. Educational talks and workshops run alongside their regularly changing exhibitions programme.Cell Project Space events
