Popular among female fashion followers, Diptyque's beautifully scented products are a coveted commodity in trendy circles. It's no surprise, with the deeply Parisian feel to this luxurious place, they have managed to strike a really sophisticated tone. Candles are their forte but they also do deliciously scented body products and eaux de toilette. They have countless varieties - the choice is incredible - but the Baies (blackcurrant leaves and Bulgarian rose) and the Chevrefeuille (honeysuckle) are personal favourites. The candles are designed to create certain atmospheres and are especially good for romance. This Mayfair store in Brook Street, opened 16th April 2009 and designed by Olivier Lempereur, joins two London branches in Marylebone and the original Westbourne Grove shop.
