Think of old black and white footage of Wimbledon tennis championships and you'll most likely think of Fred Perry. The distinctive laurel leaf crown emblem on the players' sports T-shirts instantly beamed the brand into millions of sitting rooms across the world. That was back in the 1940s and that association with the sport continues today.
