Based in Bloomsbury, beside the British Museum, it's not surprising R. A. Gekoski Booksellers has a particular interest in the Bloomsbury Group. Established in 1982, it's one of the world's leading specialist dealers in modern English, Irish and American literature, including first editions, association copies, manuscripts and archives, and artworks with literary associations. Owner Rick Gekoski has written for BBC Radio 4 on rare books and published the stories in his book, 'Tolkien's Gown and Other Stories of Great Authors and Rare Books'. Rare books available to buy include copies signed by well known authors from Oscar Wilde to Seamus Heaney.
