Authentic Italian ice cream comes to London courtesy of husband and wife team Simone and Carlo Del Mistro. There are two types of chilled sweets on offer: Gelato, a creamy recipe made with milk (but with less fat than your usual ice cream); or Sorbetto, a dairy free option made with fresh fruits, mineral water and sugar. Choose by the scoop from flavours including nocciola (hazelnuts), bacio (with chocolate added), pistacchio (pistachios), fior di latte (plain), and vaniglia (vanila) flavours. No preservatives, fresh organic milk and free range eggs are some of the guiding ice cream making principles and the secret to making Gelato Mio so more-ish.
